About Our Church

Founded in 1850, the Clark's Grove United Methodist Church has been an inspiration to community families for more than 150 years.  We celebrate that ministry with a strong emphasis on family life and the power of God in our daily living.  We believe that God has specially blessed Clark's Grove.  We think you will agree when you experience our outstanding music ministries, children and youth ministries, outreach ministries and opportunities for spiritual development.

It is unusual to find a church that is small enough to be a family and yet large enough to provide so many opportunities.  We thank God for our caring members and friends and invite you to come and share our joy.

At Clark's Grove it is our custom to celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.  We don't discriminate about who is, or is not, worthy to take communion.  Our Lord Jesus Christ offers His gifts to anyone who chooses to accept his grace.

We welcome everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, who seeks God's forgiveness for his or her sin and commits to living as an obedient follower of our Lord.  There are no restrictions based on church membership, doctrine, class, race, age or any other classification.
