Shamokin Area United Methodist Men was formed in 1982 to promote fellowship, with a mission emphasis.  The group meets semi-monthly for dinner and a program.

Our group has supported missions locally, nationally, and as far away as Africa.  Our mission support is based on the need of the individual or group.

While Umm is comprised of members of a group of local churches, Clark's Grove is usually the church most represented at meetings, and currently provides three of the four officers.  This is just one way the men of our congregation show their support and offer their aid to mission and fellowship in the community.

A sub group that grew out of UMM is the Grandfathers Work Crew.  This is a group of men who gather at the church on Monday afternoons to do odd jobs that keep our church and grounds beautiful and everything running smoothly.  They also report that they drink a lot of coffee and eat quite a few snacks.
